Single Family Residence - Portsmouth, New Hampshire
We designed an addition to this existing 2.5 bedroom 1800s colonial in downtown Portsmouth.
Our focus was to maintain the existing footprint and scale of the neighborhood. Exterior materials updated the colonial’s appearance while acknowledging the community’s historic nature.
We also accommodated the owner’s growing family by incorporating an additional story, two bedrooms, studio office space, and bathroom to the existing dwelling.
